• Required Details: When completing your reservation with R&H VIP Transportation Services, please provide your exact hotel name in Amman for pickup, a primary contact number (WhatsApp is highly recommended for seamless communication with your driver), and passport copies for all guests (required by local law for the Wadi Rum camp manifest).
• Driver Assignment: You will receive your final itinerary confirmation along with your assigned private driver’s name and direct contact information 24 hours prior to your departure.

Terrain & Walking Intensity: This tour requires a moderate to high level of physical activity. The main path from the Petra Visitor Center to the Treasury (the Siq) is 1.2 kilometers each way (2.4 km round trip) over ancient, sometimes uneven paving stones. Continuing deeper into the archaeological site involves sandy, rocky, and sloped terrain.

Mobility Restrictions: Due to the natural desert landscape in Wadi Rum and the unpaved archaeological nature of Petra, this standard itinerary is not wheelchair accessible.

On-Site Assistance at Petra: If a member of your party has mild mobility limitations, electric golf carts and horse-drawn carriages are available for hire directly at the Petra Visitor Center to bypass the walk down to the Treasury. (Note: These are operated by the local site authority, must be negotiated and paid for on-site, and require the physical ability to transfer into the cart or carriage).

Wadi Rum 4x4 Tour: Boarding the Bedouin Jeeps requires stepping up into the back of a modified truck, and the off-road desert ride will be bumpy. It is not recommended for pregnant travelers or individuals with severe back or neck problems.

Dead Sea Access: Reaching the water at the Dead Sea resorts involves navigating paved ramps, outdoor stairs, and naturally muddy or salt-crusted shorelines. Water shoes are highly recommended.
